Mathew I thought really saved my day come to find out after looking at my receipt charged me for tire disposal when I only gave them a rim. Charged me another 15.45 for roadside hazard which I did not ask for. Will not recommend this place when they overcharged and took advantage of me.

Decided to give them my business and have them replace the clutch and flywheel in my mustang. I live an hour away from their location. Took my car there and was told the parts would be in in a few days and the repair would be done on that same day. After not hearing from them for almost a week I called and they said they didn't receive the right parts and it would be a couple more days. Almost a whole week later I call and they say it should be done in the next day or so. Finally it's done after almost 2 weeks and I pick it up just to find they didn't calibrate or set the sensor on the flywheel. So in the middle of my 1 hour drive home, it starts misfiring and driving bad. Due to traffic and the time I had to go home. Took it to the local ford dealership and they set the sensor right and got my car good. This could have messed up my car. When I called them and told them about it, I spoke with Aaron and he was quick to get smart and tell me what I "should have done." Well what should have been done is THEY should have done the job right to begin with and completed the job. Especially after spending over $4000 with them. They create excuses and when they don't do the job right they w

One thing I noticed right away was how busy the place was, but somehow it still felt organized. Mariya at the front desk kept everything moving smoothly and Amil updated me multiple times while my Mercedes was getting diagnosed. Turned out to be an electrical issue that Ahmad tracked down after another shop failed to figure it out. Those are the moments where you realize the difference between real diagnostics and just replacing random parts hoping something works. What I respected most was they didn’t oversell me. They told me exactly what needed immediate attention and what could wait a little. That builds trust fast.

Absolutely amazing experience. Aaron was incredibly kind, explained what needed to be done to fix my car including parts and labor, and the shop was able to get my repair done in less than 24 hours for prices lower than I had been quoted from other shops in the area. I’ve previously been overcharged and upsold at shops in north indy so Carmel Auto Repair was a breath of fresh air. Will be returning for any and all maintenance work on my car and have already recommended the shop to friends.

I want to share my experience because I think people need to know about this shop. I drive a 2015 Subaru Outback with about 140,000 miles on it and earlier this year it started overheating randomly. I had taken it to two other places in the Indianapolis area and both of them gave me vague answers and wanted to start throwing parts at the problem. I finally brought it to Carmel Auto Repair after a coworker recommended them. Nizam and Michael spent real time with the car. They pressure tested the cooling system, checked the head gasket compression, inspected the water pump and thermostat housing, and came back to me with a clear diagnosis. It was a failing water pump combined with a small coolant leak at the thermostat housing. Nothing catastrophic but it needed to be done right. Daniel laid out the full repair plan with transparent line item pricing. I approved it the same day. They completed the work in about a day and a half, called me when it was done, and the car has run perfectly for 8,000 miles since. No overheating, no warning lights, nothing. The price was honest and fair for the amount of work involved. This is the kind of shop that actually solves problems instead of guess
